BOOT RULES FOR PPC



1. If something happens that cannot display double run or double aces for
some unforeseen reason, he will get credit for the special if he takes a
screen shot and sends it to the host.

Directions for taking a screen shot are: Click on the top bar of window,
then hit print screen on your computer, then go to word and right click and
hit paste, then email to host.

2.  If the HOST OF the TABLE is booted (and cannot save the table),  by
IPLAY both teams will get their meld plus what points for tricks taken at
the time of the boot.

AFTER A BOOT HAS OCCURRED, REGROUP AND KEEP SCORES MANUALLY.


3. If a host team is set (the opponents have already taken enough to set the
bid), before the boot occurs, the table host team loses their meld and will
deduct the amount of the bid from their score. If the team that didn't get
the bid boots, they lose the meld and points for the hand, unless they have
already saved.

IF THE TABLE HOST TEAM IS ON THE FINAL PLAY OF A HAND AND A BOOT OCCURS, AND
THEIR SAVE CARD IS DISPLAYED, THE TEAM WILL GET CREDIT FOR THE SAVE. IF
THERE ARE ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT A BOOT SITUATION, PLEASE ASK YOUR TOURNAMENT
HOST FOR CLARIFICATION. THE DECISION OF THE TOURNAMENT HOST IS FINAL

RULES FOR PPC


 

Rule 1. Have Fun and be Considerate of the other players. That means keep conversation to a minimum and no multitasking please. Harassment, name calling, or arguing will not be tolerated. If a tournament Host is called into a situation, that host reserves the right to disqualify any individual or team without any prior verbal warning who engages in such activity. The tournament Host's decision is final.

Rule 2. If during a tournament game a message is sent or received from a voice or chat programs (Example: ICQ, Yahoo messenger, Powwow), it could result in a disqualification from the tourney. All decisions are made by the tourney Host running the event, concerning this rule.

Rule 3. Table Hosting & Options: One person from the first team listed will host the game. The game host should set the table options as directed by tournament host.

Rule 4. Restarting a game will not be allowed at all during a tourney. If you have a problem such as all have been booted or game host was booted, notify the tournament host immediately. Please DO NOT shut the table down until tournament host authorizes such action be taken.

Rule 5. The talk at the table is to be primarily for social and congratulatory purposes. No "table talk" discussing playing tactics will be permitted. If it has anything to do with the game at hand (i.e. cards, relief, plans, disappointment, etc.) If you feel somebody is "table talking", stop playing and notify tournament host immediately. The decision of the tournament host on matters of table talk is final.

Rule6BRB’s occurring during a game will be limited to Five Minutes unless an emergency has been declares. After Five Minutes, that player will be replaced with a sub for the remainder of the game. If a sub cannot be found, the player/team with the brb will forfeit the game

Rule7: Breaks and Boots: Breaks - Ask tourney host prior to doing so no longer then 5 minutes between rounds. Boots - after 5 minutes a sub will be placed. The booted player has 15 minutes to return to the lobby to retain the position. After 15 minutes has expired the sub will be deemed the signed up player.

 Rule 8: and Iplay Membership Policy Rule: No Macros are allowed in IPlay Lobbies by players, i.e., pictures.                   

Rule 9. Leaving a tourney event before finished to go play another event will result in a write up to the seniors of PPC CLUB and can lead to a Suspension from playing tourneys at this club for 14 days or more. Also, signing up for more than one event without a withdraw results in the same penalty.

Rule 10. If any team refuses to play in any game, regardless of the reason, that team will be subject to a 2 WEEK SUSPENSION.

Rule 11. Accusations of cheating without proof during a game and/or after a game in the tourney lobby will result in a write up to the senior staff of PPC CLUB. The second write-up of accusing a player or players of cheating will result in a 2 week ban from all PPC CLUB events.

Rule 12. Spectators are permitted if all agree. Never lock the door. Tournament Host may need to see the play at the table. If the door is locked, that team is disqualified.

Rule 13: Do not turn card viewing on unless tournament host requests you to. Any table host found with their card viewing ON will results in that team being disqualified.

Rule 14. Waves are permitted to be played. Please make sure they are suitable for all players to hear and be prepared to share them if requested to do so.

Rule 15. Subs are allowed in games. Also, in the finals game a sub will be allowed although the win and Ladder Points go to the person leaving.

Rule 16. If the table host hits the "Cancel Game" button during the game, please call the tourney host to the table. The first time it happens is a warning, but the second time it happens during the tourney, the player will be disqualified.

Rule 17. In the event that a game is holding up the rest of the players, THE HOST shall instruct those players to leave their present table open and proceed to their second assigned game. After finishing their second game, the four players shall return to their first game room and finish their first game.

Rule 18. Chairmen will hold office for the period of one year. Elections will be held in July. Present chairmen can be re-elected by the membership. In the event that a chairman resigns, a new election to replace that chairman will be held as soon as possible.

Rule 19:  In case of a tie, the bidder will get 1 point added to score for the win.
