Sandy passed away August 5th, 2004. She was 55 years old. She is survived by her daughter Ann Marie and son-in-law James . Also surviving her are: her sister Carol (aka cc) and brother-in-law John, sister Gereene and brother -in-law Tom, her father, C.V.McCauley and Step-Mother Jeanie. She was preceded
in death by her Mother Ann St. JohnAlso surviving her are 2 brothers Fred and sister-in-law Sophie, Jeff and sister-in-law Sue, and 3 other sisters and brother-in-law, Cindy and Greg, Maureen, and Cindy.
She was a member of St, Mark's Catholic Church. She earned an associates degree in business from Gateway Technical College and went on to earn a Bachelor Degree from Carthage College. She worked at the Credit Union and Great Lakes International until she was disabled.
She loved being with and keeping in contact with all of her family members including her many nieces and nephews across the country. she also enjoyed cooking, reading, scrap booking, and playing cards. She enjoyed so much playing cards on the internet and was so pleased to make so many friends playing pinochle.
Sandy would have been so surprised at the number of people that were concerned and that cared for her, especially those that she really never met face to face, but were her card buddies. All of us so appreciated all the caring that came from her internet family. I would like you all to know that she cared so much for her internet friends and playing cards with you gave her something to do that she could look forward to everyday. It really was a God send when she was not able to do much more than that.
She loved playing pinochle, we used to play cut throat pinochle with a cousin and she always said that they paid for my daughters college education with their weekly losses. LOL
Sandy was my baby sister and she is missed every day. It is so hard not having her with us today. She suffered so much at the end that I am sure it was a relief to her that God took her home to be with him. I know she is watching over all of us everyday. I think that she is probably playing pinochle with our mom and Luliz.
Thank You again for all your prayers and for doing this memorial for her.
